Location: De Veste, Oostelijk Bolwerk 22, Terneuzen
Residence: Centrally located in Terneuzen apartment for two in De Veste building B. This flat comprises 50 rental apartments. De Veste is a senior citizen flat. It houses people of sixty and over with or without need for care and several younger residents with need for care. The Zeeuwse Huiskamer apartment is situated at the ground floor and looks out on a lawn and small garden. The residence is completely refurnished with modern furniture that leaves enough space for rollators or wheelchairs.
Goals:
– Show in practice what is possible in innovation for people with a limited budget.
– Prove that people can live independently for a longer time and need care at a later stage by means of good facilities such as domotics.
Target Audience:
– The De Veste residents committee;
– People with need of after care, subsequent to a stay in the hospital;
– People who find it hard to accept care.
